I founded ReadWriteWeb and built it into one of the world’s most influential technology news websites. I was CEO and Editor-in-Chief from 2003-2012.
During my time running the business, ReadWriteWeb was ranked among the top ten blogs in the world by Technorati and our content was syndicated by The New York Times website (2008-11).
ReadWriteWeb was sold to SAY Media in December 2011 and I left the site in October 2012.
I currently write a weekly tech column at Stuff.co.nz, New Zealand’s largest news website with more than 2.2 million monthly unique users. Follow me on Twitter or Facebook to be notified of new articles.
I’ve written two books since leaving ReadWriteWeb:
- My debut book Trackers, about how technology is helping us monitor and improve our health, was published in December 2014.
- My science fiction novel Presence, about the future of Virtual Reality, was published in September 2016.
