Aurora R16 scores the debut of Alienware’s Legend 3 design language in the desktop spacewhich not only means a significantly different look compared to the R15 model, but also a new cooling solution with larger air intakes and heat dissipation.

Hexagonal side vents and the new Vertical AlienFX deliver a larger surface area for the entry of fresh air. The top of the case also has more surface area to dissipate heat. These are changes that the company says are possible on the R16 Keep temperatures 7% lower and noise 20% lower compared to the Aurora R15 with the same components.
The new Vertical AlienFX placed on the side is both an optical element and an air inlet with a 54.5% larger aperture than its predecessor, the Aurora R15. L’Aurora R16 is approximately up to 40% smaller than its predecessor without sacrificing functionality or performance. The internal volume remains the same, so the degree of upgradability remains unchanged.
The Aurora R16 case is available with both a clear transparent window and a solid panel. Players can choose Air or liquid cooling for the CPU and 500 or 1000 W power supplies – all certified with 80 Plus Platinum.
The case provides three independent AlienFX lighting zones which can be customized: the first is the alien power button, the others are the vertical stage and the rear fan. Everything is managed by the Alienware Command Center 6.0.
The system has dimensions of 458.4 x 197 x 418 mm (L x W x H) and a maximum weight of 15.37 kilograms. Regarding the configurations you can install 12th or 13th generation Core CPU accompanied by NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4000 series GPUs. On board we also find up to 64GB of DDR5-5200 memory on two DIMM slots.
Two M.2 slots for up to 8TB Storage space and the option of installing a 3.5-inch hard drive round off the features. Standard functions of all configurations are supported Wi-Fi 6E and 2.5Gb Ethernet connectivity.
