According to rumors that spread in early June, Elon Musk’s visit to China would also lead to the official launch of the new Tesla Model 3which actually didn’t happen.
But they are back Spy photo of a sample being tested on the streets of California after a period of no sightings. The images were reported on Twitter by The Kilowatts.

The prototype, or pre-production if you will, still has the classic black camouflage tarpaulins, just like the previous stolen shots. Curtains hide the front and back where the relevant design changes should take place.
In fact, a photo showing the headlights was leaked about a few months ago a slimmer and more aggressive cut, similar to the new Roadster, and the rear lights should also follow this concept, but there are no confirmations in this sense. Another stolen photo showed a new steering wheel instead, a hint that the interior might be significantly different as well.
The new photos have instead confirmed the presence of Hardware 4.0with the new video cameras and thus also with the new on-board computer, components that were already present in the other three models on the market. The Model 3 was now offered at a particularly low price, but only for items in stock, which may indicate a willingness to clear stocks. There are people who are even speculating that those who order the Model 3 today could already receive the new model, but we are absolutely in the realm of speculation.
